MSC Mediterranean Shipping began a comprehensive update of the four existing routes at the end of April, namely the Seagull, Orchid, Seahorse and New Origami routes. These route optimization updates will provide a more competitive transit time between China and Southeast Asia, especially the transit time from China to Vietnam and Thailand, as well as new direct services between China and Malaysia. The newly updated routes will further strengthen MSC’s position in the growing Asian market and will seamlessly connect to Mediterranean Shipping’s global ocean liner network, as well as inland and barge services in the Asian region.
