2021-04-07 18:04

It is reported that Ocean Network Shipping ONE, Orient Overseas (OOCL) and regional container shipping companies Regional Container Lines (RCL) and Goldstar Lines will cooperate in launching two new services to develop the Asian internal network. ONE and RCL will cooperate to launch a new China-Thailand-Philippines (CTP) service, which is a transformation of Thailand-Vietnam-Philippines (TPV) service. The two companies will deploy four 2700TEU ships, and the transportation time from Shanghai to Laem Chabang will be 6 days. The CTP port rotation will be: Qingdao-Busan-Shanghai-Lin Chaban-Gemme Port-Manila-Qingdao, and the first cargo ship to depart from Lin Chaban Port on April 5 will be the 2553TEU "MOL Seabreeze" vessel. In addition, ONE will participate in another joint service with OOCL and Goldstar Lines, called China-Indonesia-Malaysia 2 (CIM2), and is expected to connect different regions of China to Indonesia and Malaysia. The three Asian container shipping companies will deploy four ships with a capacity of 2800-4250TEU on new Asian internal products, which, according to a statement, will complement existing CIM services. The CIM2 service will start from the "OOCL Savannah" built in 2010 and is expected to depart from Qingdao Port on April 19. The new service rotation will be: Qingdao-Shanghai-Ningbo-Da Chan Bay-Jakarta-Surabaya-Port Klang-Qingdao. ONE said that adding these new services will increase its influence in the Asian internal market and provide its customers with reliable and efficient transportation solutions.
